About us

At the heart of your community

St Andrew's is the parish church serving north Orford in the Borough of Warrington. From humble beginnings, worshipping in people's homes, the church grew, and a fine modern building was completed in 1963. St Andrew's lies at the heart of a council estate built after the War.

St Andrew's is liberal catholic in tradition and our worship is principally Eucharistic. Our main act of worship is the Eucharist at 10.00am on Sundays. The congregation is made up of friendly people and newcomers are always welcome. We look forward to meeting you!

Building the foundations of faith

Our church is not just a place of worship; it's a cornerstone of support for the young minds blossoming in our linked school, St. Andrews CE Primary.

As students navigate their educational journey within the embrace of our church, they not only acquire essential academic skills but also cultivate a deep understanding of God's love and teachings.

Students regularly visit our church to take part in celebrations, worships, Eucharist and class worships. We celebrate key events such as Easter, St Andrew's Day and Christingle with all our friends and families in church.
