Hello from Revd Philippa Shaw
Hello, I’m Philippa and I’m really looking forward to being the Priest in Charge at St Andrew’s Church.
It’s a privilege and a blessing to have been appointed to this position and to be leading you during this time in the church’s life.
Many of you already know me, but for those who don’t, I trained at Emmanuel Theological College and prior to that worked in Primary Education. I like eating out, cinema, reading, dancing, going to the gym and live music. I grew up by the sea on the south coast, but I always feel close to God by any seaside anywhere. I am married to Neil.
I really hope that while I am with you, I can encourage you in your faith life and your calling, work with the families at your school and introduce new people to the joy of Jesus.
